Artist Info: Double Jay

Born june 2nd 1983 in Zaandam, The Netherlands, JJ Doeven picked up the guitar at age 11 and never let go. Somewhere in his mid teens he picked up the sounds of blues- and rock guitarists and began playing the blues, rock, jazz, soul and other styles, as long as it had the element of improvisation. That led him to study pop/session guitar at the conservatoty of alkmaar where he also took a minor in producing and studio technology.
