Dimitrij was founded as a collective of five individuals in spring 2005. Mixing the member's various musical influences resulted in a unique brand of explosive Screamo/Posthardcore, meaning: none of the usual Underoath clones. Their, from ebullition bands influenced, sound can be located somewhere between the soundscapes of late At the Drive-In, the anxiety of Eaves and the explosive power of Portraits of Past.
