The word demans (dementia) means "one losing his / her mind".

Demans (Dementia in English) was founded in 2008 by two computer engineers Nurettin Mert Aydin and Serdar Mumcu from Ankara, Turkey.

The duo started constructing and recording their tracks in 2009 after consolidating their knowledge in music while being molded in this digital and virtual world with the sounds coming to their ears and minds.
