Artist Info: Degradée

Degradée was a Brazilian rock band from the 1980s that followed a new wave style. Emerging from the underground scene in São Paulo, they gained national notoriety with the hit "Mais que um Sonhador" ("More Than a Dreamer"), which became successful on radio and in dance clubs during the 1980s and was part of the soundtrack of the Globo TV soap opera "Um Sonho a Mais" in 1985. This song was re-recorded by Wander Taffo on his solo album "Lola" in 1996, and on the DVD "Rádio Taxi Ao Vivo" in 2006. [read more...]
