Artist Info: Dawktah

Dawktah is a New York-based experimental plunderphonics musician. Dawktah is one of the pseudonyms used by John McDonnell, who also performs as Sola Veneño. He started making music under this pseudonym in December 2011 after experimenting with plunderphonics on Audacity, which he subsequently used to make his debut EP, "Sacristy Arcade". Since then, he has released the "Imaginary Math" single, and is currently working on his upcoming debut album Reduced to Dust, which was released in September 2013. [read more...]
