Artist Info: Coloringbook

"Coloringbook" or "ColoringBook" are the names of two separate and very different projects. Both musical acts have pieces in this list.

"ColoringBook" (with a capital "B") is a project by electroacoustic composer Clayton Counts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ColoringBook). The other, "Coloringbook" is by Nicholas Gathany, known for the music of Zyzzybalubah (http://zyzzyworld.com).

Counts' music is described as noise, along the lines of Merzbow and Negativland, although some of it is melodic. [read more...]
