Augustus Cole is a fictional character in the video game series Gears of War.
Augustus Cole, aka "The Cole Train", is a former professional "Thrashball" player for the Cougars. It is not explained exactly what Thrashball is, but its terminology and social aspects make it seem like a close cousin of American football.
