Artist Info: Cherry Bombshell

CHERRY BOMBSHELL was formed by four friends in Bandung back in 1995. The name was inspired by the band Lush and the color of the lead singer's hair. The orginal four members started out playing the music of other English bands like Pale Saint, Velocity Girl and Revolver. Later they met Alexandra, who would become their vocalist, and they began playing some gigs in Jakarta under the name Lolypop.

They then decided to record a mini-album with six songs, of which they sold 500 cassettes by themselves. [read more...]
