There are five bands using the name Canvas.

1). Canvas are a band from Leeds, England, who existed between 1996 and 2000, and have now returned in 2017 for a handful of shows. They blend metal and hardcore, technical and progressive variations, with a heavy dose of atmosphere. They played a lot around all reaches of the UK, and a few festivals / shows in Europe.

Their first full-length was a self-titled collection of a few recordings which was more of the straight edge / hardcore / thrash style and was released in 1998. [read more...]
