BronzeHead is a 10-piece group from London, formed in 2010 to make new music inspired by the raw & heavy funk rhythms of 1970's West Africa.

During this era, bands in countries like Nigeria, Ghana & Benin mixed traditional African rhythms together with funk & soul to form thrilling new genres such as Afrobeat, Afrofunk & Highlife.
