Artist Info: Box The Compass

Formed in the summer of 2000, Box the Compass began performing in their native California throughout the year. They put together a demo, eventually deciding to tour throughout 2001 while they worked on their first album. Run the Easting Down was released in the spring of 2002 by Substandard Records. Box The Compass capture the aggression and intensity of hardcore, while offering the groove and melodic elements of emo.
