Bowsar is an electronic music DJ and producer from Austria currently based in Vienna.

He started making music in 2006. Although Bowsar is best known as drum & bass producer, his musical roots lie in hip-hop, downbeat, breakbeat, experimental electronic music and jazz.

At the age of 15 he discovered the music of artists like The Herbaliser, Amon Tobin and Up, Bustle and Out. Ninja Tune had a strong influence on his perception of music and inspired him to start his own creative work. [read more...]
