Artist Info: Birdcatcher

1.Birdcatcher started off as a solo project of keyboard player Roel Spanjers in 2004, but since then has been extended to a full-time band. The three other band members are his brother Erik Spanjers on drums, Arwen Linneman on bass and Gabriël Peeters on guitar.

Before Birdcatcher, Roel Spanjers was a session musician for various US based blues and soul artists, and a steady force in JW Roy's One Night Band. After the split-up of the One Night Band, they regrouped as The Sunset Travelers with the addition of Nico Heilijgers on bass. [read more...]
