Beneath Utopia is a one-man band hailing from the United Kingdom, Ian Lipthorpe forming it in 1996. The established sound of the band is a combination of death and black metal with melodic twists and gothic turns. Metal Hammer and Terrorizer have even reviewed some of Beneath Utopia's releases.
