Born in Australia and raised in a Persian culture she was drawn to a dynamic range of sounds musically from a young age. She grew up listening to a range of artists from Nelly Furtado and Beyoncé to Britney Spears, honing her vocal skills through theater and musical performances at school, and writing her own songs.
