The band name was The Bear Fax.

The Bear Fax band was started in Shawnee Oklahoma in 1966. The original band members were Dennis Meeks, Paul Quatrone, Louie Quatrone, Larry Malazo, Lloyd Tucker,and Bob Reagon.They had one record out called Out of our Tree. The band dissolved of all the members except Lloyd Tucker that started the band Bare Fax in 1971. The band had one record out called Woman in 1971.
