Artist Info: Beam

There's more than one 'Beam':
1) Jamaica-born and Miami-raised rapper, BEAM found solace in music at an early age. “I’ve been in the studio since I was born,” he explains. “My dad was an artist, so when I was a kid I would always be there with him. I didn’t start messing around with until I was ten, but the smell of the studio is probably one of my earliest memories.”

2) Formed in 2000, Beam is led by French ex-pat Helene Renaut, a music major from Brittany. [read more...]
