Steven began producing Happy Hardcore at the age of eighteen, which led to him DJ'ing all around the Midlands. After he heard Mary Anne Hobbs on her BBC Radio1 show, however, his whole outlook on music was changed by the sound she was supporting. He realized that you don't have to stick to certain formulas to make good music. This resulted in him starting production of his own interpretation of Dubstep, IDM, Ambient, and Sci-fi Glitch under the alias Barbarix. [read more...]
