Artist Info: Austero

Austero is a Mexican rock trio from the state of Chihuahua in northern Mexico. The band’s lineup consists of Rafael Ruiz, Robi Ruiz and Luis Perea. Their music is centered on distorted guitars and a power-trio approach that blends hard rock with grunge, noise rock, and slower, more atmospheric passages.

Austero recorded its first full-length album, Austero, at Electrical Audio in Chicago with Steve Albini, and the record was released in June 2020. [read more...]
