Artist Info: Auschwitz

There are at least three bands with the name Auschwitz.

1) Japanese hard rock/psychedelic band, formed by Naoto Hayashi in 1980 in Osaka. They released their first 7" single on the Night Gallery label in 1985. The group split up in June 1993.

2) An industrial band from Riga, Latvia, with a core member Wilsons (keys, sampling, generators, vox) and other allies, mainly Melne (violin, keys) and Koils (guitar, keys, vox) in different it's periods. Themes do not include subject matter covered by RAC bands with a similar name. [read more...]
