Arescyn was a post-hardcore band from Lexington, Kentucky, United States, who moved to Michigan together to record their material and play music.

They released their EP in 2008 called Sitting Here, Looking Like Animals in 2008, then the EP Moving Pictures For A New Era in 2009, and in 2010 the album He's A Fool, She's A Mute.

Their 2009 EP was recorded with Joey Sturgis @ The Foundation Studios in Connersville, Indiana.
