The band Arawi was formed in Cochabamba, Bolivia on February 16, 1992, with the aim of researching, reconstructing, and playing Andean music.

Arawi is poetry, sound poetry of the wind and Andean time. This poetry transcends the limitation of words to become transcendental acoustic harmony.
