Artist Info: Antox

1981: the year that kickstarted the 80s was the year that kickstarted Anthony "Antox" Nemer. Born in that neon-golden age of music, pixelated video games, Saturday morning cartoons, cult anime, and classic movies, he grew up on a steady diet of pop culture that would come to define a generation.

In 2010 he started deejaying in pubs in Beirut and began incorporating more niche music into his repertoire. But the 80s had one last gift for him: 2013’s “Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon”, which introduced him to Synthwave. [read more...]
