
While “They sound kind of like Pavement” has become clichéd parlance in the music world, it still holds meaning for this talented Oakland five-piece. Indifference, malaise, and anger are expressed in singer David McKay’s vocals in often monotone phrasings as well as the ocassional wild screaming.
