Artist Info: Alpha Stasis

Alpha Stasis is a progressive, hardrock band located in North Hollywood, California. Their sound borrows heavily from 90's space-rock bands like Hum and adds a post-hardcore element. Droning vocals and heavy riffs make you think Pink Floyd and Cave In had a baby with an obsession for space and robots. Their debut ep released 10.01.10, "Escape The Machine Planet," is a mini-space-rock-opera set in the future on a distant planet controlled by hostile machines. [read more...]
