Artist Info: Aktual

Czech experimental voiceband active in years 1967-1972 formed around all-round artist Milan Knížák. Musical concepts of Aktual resembled genres like industrial or noise years before they were even reckoned as a musical phenomenon. The core of Aktual's instruments were guitar, bass and drums but the equal part of their shows were noise-making objects like sirens, rails, buckets full of shattered glass, splitting of wood and even motorcycle or drilling machine - the stage after concert wasn't the same as before.
