Afreet is an Afghan post-metal group formed in 2019 after the dissolution of District Unknown. The group consists of ex-District Unknown musicians Sulleiman Omar (based in Denver, CO, USA) and Yousef Shah (based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK).
