2nd Element is an ambient / chillout alias of Rich Mowatt who is better known as Solarstone.

The track Underwaterfall was first featured on the critically-acclaimed compilation Chilled Out Euphoria (disc 2) in 2001. It was eventually given a full release in 2008 on the Tigershade record label with Gathering Storm as a B-Side.

Underwaterfall is used as the basis for Solarstone & Jes' well-known 2006 track Like A Waterfall featuring Jes on vocals.
