Artist Info: 1774

1774 is an electronic dark ambient project from around Utrecht, the Netherlands. The members, As. and Hæresiarch Sr, started in 2007 after reading 'Die Leiden des jungen Werthers' from J.W. Goethe. The atmospheres and titles from the first tracks are inspired on this impressive book.

Despite Dutch being the primary language of the members, all titles are in German, since this was the language of Goethe. In time, 1774 shall also create tracks inspired on other subjects, not only on Goethe's masterpiece. [read more...]
