Album: Eternal Atake 2

Eternal Atake 2 is the fourth solo album by American rapper Lil Uzi Vert following their June 2023 album, Pink Tape, and was released on November 1st, 2024 through Generation Now and Atlantic Records. The album serves as a sequel to Lil Uzi Vert's second studio album Eternal Atake (2020), which was released four years earlier. It was also the third album to be teased after Pink Tape, with its predecessors being Luv Is Rage 3 and Barter 16. This album would first come to light in August of 2024 in an interview that caught many by surprise for many reasons. Most notably, they said that they were working on Luv Is Rage 3, and second, what about Barter 16 as well? Well it seems that for awhile now, Barter 16 is cancelled due to the leaks and confusion that took place by the time Uzi was ready to release it. And as for Luv Is Rage 3, it looks like it is also cancelled for now but may make a return sometime in the near future. On September 24th, 2024, Uzi would be interviewed by yet another fan and when they are asked what they would rate their outfit on a scale of one through ten, they would reply with "I'm cooked but I gotta drop Eternal Atake". On October 16th, 2024, they would record a music video near Madison Square Garden, a stadium in New York City, supposedly for Eternal Atake 2. On October 23rd, 2024, Lil Uzi Vert would drop “Uzi The Earthling! (TV Show Theme)”, which was rumored to be an interlude for Eternal Atake 2, being only about 29 seconds long. However, it isn't included on the tracklist. The cover for this single is the iconic keyhole featured in the original Eternal Atake album cover, and inside the keyhole features the number 2 with the letters E and A inside of it, which is an abbreviation for Eternal Atake. The same day, the album covers for all of Uzi's albums began changing to have the logo in low opacity placed on top of it. The next day, October 24th, 2024, they would then drop the trailer for Eternal Atake 2 titled "EA2 (The Beginning of the Era)" on Instagram, X, and YouTube, along with the presave link for the album. When clicked, the link would reveal the album cover, length, and also its release date. A November 1st release date with 16 songs plus the trailer, totaling to 17 (according to Apple Music). This would also mark the first appearance of Lil Uzi Vert on social media in almost 10 months after deactivating their socials back in January of 2024. Shortly after the album was released, Uzi joined Kai Cenat’s Twitch Subathon to promote the album, which ended in a contract that Kai would be in full control of what Uzi releases and does for the next week, and hinted at songs like “Dummy Man” and “McWhistle” to be released as singles or on the deluxe.
