Days Before Dreamboy is the second EP by American rapper, singer, and songwriter Lil Nas X, released on March 28, 2025. It is a prequel to “Dreamboy.” and a reference to Travis Scott’s beloved mixtape Days Before Rodeo, which was a prequel to Rodeo. The EP was confirmed by Lil Nas X in the YouTube Premiere chat of SWISH’s visualizer, minutes before releasing.
On March 8, 2025, the cover art was shown by Lil Nas X to promote his next single, HOTBOX.
On March 10, 2025, “DREAMBOY” was released.
On March 11, 2025, “BIG DUMMY!” was released. Lil Nas X then announced “RIGHT THERE!” would release on the 13th.
“SWISH” then followed suit, being released on March 12, 2025.
“RIGHT THERE!” was then released to all streaming platforms on March 13, 2025, after being a Soundcloud and YouTube exclusive for almost a year.
Lastly, “HOTBOX” was released on March 14, 2025 ending off HOTBOX week.
On March 28, 2025, the EP was officially released to include November 2024’s releases “LIGHT AGAIN!” and “need dat boy,” along with “LEAN ON MY BODY,” which released a week prior on the 21st.
