Detailierte Künstler Informationen: Scavanger

The Band „Scavanger“ from Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany commited themselves to the traditional Heavy
Metal/ Hard Rock the classic stile of the 80s already shortly after the foundation in autumn 2003.
Borrowings of the Power and Melodic Metal genre are indeed recognisable, anyhow the classic Heavy Metal
like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc. stands still in the front. Accordingly the clear vocals, catchy riffs and many
guitar solos are hallmarks of the band.

With this constellation we now rock since six years and try to establish ourselves through many good
concerts as a “rocking” metalband, which increasingly works good for us especially in the region of
Rosenheim.

Our musical mixture of classic Hard Rock and impulsive Heavy Metal brought us many gigs with well
established Hard Rock bands like Nazareth, SAGA, OOMPH!, Y&T and U.F.O. in the past years.
After the release of our promo album “Scavanger” in summer 2005 our new album “Giving Entrance” was
released March 2010. With this album we actually mainly work in the internet and try to find a suitable label
for us.

Beside our musical engagement we’re the organizer of the annual “Heavy Metal’s calling”-festivals in
Rosenheim. This is continued the fifth time this year with notable bands like “Crystallion” and “Destination’s
Calling”.
