ONE TRIBE is settled in Cologne/Bonn, Germany. Our group will be spreading its lovers vibes for exactly twenty years in August 2007! It all began in a cellar of a friend in Bonn, 1987. We were rocking to some Bob Marley songs with our instruments. Did not take long for reggae music to take big effect on the musical direction the band went for from these days on. And it did not take long for a little success to come. We played and won at music contests such as the "VARTA-Music Awards" or the "Bob Marley - Natural Mystic Band Contest". Over the years we have supported bands like the WAILERS, GENTLEMAN, MISTY IN ROOTS, EARL 16, MACKA B & MAD PROFESSOR, ZIGGY MARLEY, PATO BANTON, I-THREES OR MACEO PARKER and many more. We shot our first video clip for the single "Hey, Mr. Bond" during the Cannes Filmfestivals in 1996. And, at last, we got to play a tour in the carebean islands. Due to the amasing success of "Song for Aruba" and "Hey, Mr. Bond" during the Aruba World Youth Festival 1996 in Aruba, ONE TRIBE had been invited to the festival and the tour on ABC-Islands. Nowadays the TRIBE found its way back to the foundamentals of their music. Hand made roots rocking reggae-rock. And after experiencing more commercialy, ONE TRIBE hits the sound of today by staying close to the originals. Mixed up but timeless as possible. Carrying JAH load.
