Nape is an east German Alternative Rockband. They formed in 2008 and just finished their first real LP which was partly recorded in Sao Paulo / Brazil. The album which is called "Synthetic Unity" appeared on the Berlin Indie-label Setalight Record on the 11th of November 2011 and is available on amazon, itunes, setalight-shop.

The second album "Read My Mind" is completely recorded in Brasil and the release date is in June 2014

Those days when music sounded like emotions instead of frigid engineering. Back then when live-performances with real instruments were still appreciated…
These moments make themselves scarce and their heroes are struggling for life. Every now and then individual successors step out of that tarn. One of them is the band NAPE. Influenced by legends like Sonic Youth, Mudhoney or Led Zeppelin, etc. the band was founded at the end of 2008 and has gained a lot of live-experience since then.
No matter whether there are 5 or 500 people in the audience, Nape rocks the stage, neither regarding their instruments nor their own bodies!
