
Umer Iftikhar started his singing journey in his childhood. His selection, as a lead singer in the Cathedral School Choir became an inspiration, the primary source of learning.
His musical endeavors continued and he formed RIFF. The band produced hit songs like "MANU NA". He was later offered an album contract by FIRE RECORDS GEO, release of this album is still in process.
During his final thesis collection at PIFD he was offered to sing in PFDC fashion week by the Dean YASIR WAHEED. The folk tune with title of "AAJA HOO" attracted people and the performance was greatly appreciated by the viewers and media.
He then performed at THE PANTENE BRIDAL COTOURE WEEK 2011 for designer SAIRA RIZWAN.
So far three of his music videos KAMLEE BY TEEN NUKTAY, MAHIYA AND AJAA HOO has been released.
At present he is working in Australia on live performances, studio recordings and many upcoming projects.
