TSTI is the moniker of the electronic bedroom project by upstate New York artist, S. Smith. Described as
‘dark, hazy synthetic pop,’ TSTI seamlessly marries his love for analog synthesizers and the artists who
brought these rich textures to the forefront in the 1980’s.

Creating musical landscapes that combine pounding drum machines with elevated melodies, TSTI’s lyrical content and vocal delivery pinpoint the disappointments and passions of human nature and friendship. The genesis of these musical experiments started in 2003 but did not surface until the summer of 2011, with his self-produced and handmade Black Envelope EP.

TSTI continues to forge ahead in his exploration of mechanical soundscapes and infectious melodies. New single ‘Queen of Swoons,’ serves as both a bridge and mile marker towards what lies ahead. As an unsigned artist, Smith has been building his fan base and writing non-stop to mold his first full length, slated for release later this year.
