Artist Detailed Info: Solitude Within

'Solitude Within' is a Belgian female fronted band that combines classical music with hard rock and heavy metal and gives it a modern touch. They are influenced by bands like: Delain, Nightwish, Evanescence, Evergrey and Therion (to name but a few). Their music is characterized by a beautiful melodic female singing voice, epic choruses, gorgeous melodies, thunderous drums and blazing guitar solos. With all of that combined, the band creates their own unique sound and play songs that will get stuck in your head.

Solitude Within saw the first light of day in the summer of 2014, when Emmelie (vocals & keyboards) formed the band together with bass player Quincy. It didn't take long to find the remaining members as JP and Johan (both guitars) joined their ranks. Later on Ash would reinforce the band on the drums and soon they were ready to go.

In the beginning of 2016 they uploaded a first song called 'Fade Away', which was greatly appreciated and Solitude Within was offered a record deal with 'Mausoleum Records', which the band gladly accepted. However, when Alfie Falckenbach, the founder of Mausoleum Records, passed away they had to change their plans. The band decided to take the last steps to release the album into their own hands.

In September 2016 the recordings where finished and a teaser of a second song 'Paralyzed' was released.

Later in January 2017 the album was mastered by ‘Tony De Block' at Midas Recording studios.

In March 2017 the long awaited debut album 'Disappear' got finally released and with that, the band is taking all the stages with their fantastic music and live shows!
