An alternative pop band called Revlovers started in 2010 after Vixo and Cutcat broke up and they decided to go along together. Songwriting is the major aspect for them.
Claiming by listeners they have something in common with Bat for Lashes mixed with Interpol. However musicians take many of their cues from their inspiration like The Beatles. In 2011 having only demo record in hands they played during Heineken Opener Festival, which opened the way to start working on their debut album Revision Thing released in november 2013 by their own label Gish! produced by Kamil Łazikowski. The first single Copacabana was the powerplay in many radio stations like Polish Radio 3. This led the band to the series of gigs in Poland taking part in festivals like Spring Break, Uruchom Ucho ( by The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage ). Those festivals are concentrated on the young, talented bands around the country. Not only does the band play music but also makes music videos - there are six of them so far. The most popular one Copacabana ( more than 110 000 viewers ) caused a scandal because of a band’s support for homosexual relationship.
Once again with Kamil Łazikowski, the band started an intensive work on their second album in 2014. After two years musicians are proud to say that it is ready to release.
PHARMACY is a piece of more mature music than their debut. It results from their personal experiences, especially the divorce of Basia and Michał. The album is outspoken, gloomy, pesimistic yet the one can hear something positive, that the only way for mental liberation and humaneness is to surrender to love.
