Artist Detailed Info: Proximas

Proximas is a 'Bass Smith' based in North West London. Armed with grimey low frequencies and a touch of melodic highs, Proximas is a very familiar name in the London bass music scene.

His love for music and production started off as an outlet for expression which evolved to be the guiding passion he strives for. This is very much audible in his ability to capture the hypnotic and volatile essence of sound in a cultivated fusion of pure live instruments and raging modern day synthesizers.

Proximas is currently working on his EP which will be released on Cooly G's Dub Organizer Records and his first single Shades Of Paradise is scheduled to be released towards the end of Febuary 2012.

Besides working on his EP and the odd remixes, Proximas does a radio show on Nasty FM called the NWL Sessions. Proximas also produces for numerous acts such as grime artist Clipson and hip hop Live act Kings Of The City Front Mc's KayoKen and Ali.

Proximas is also working with a handful of up and coming artist such as Ashleigh Ashley, Ben Willis and Fires of Babylon which will most likely to be featured on his EP.
