Pomelo is a post-hardcore, math rock trio from Rochester, New York. Formed in 2018, the band consists of Adam Maida on guitar and vocals, Travis Johansen on drums, and Erik Happ on bass. The band released their debut full-length "Validations" on December 03, 2021, taking inspiration from their contemporaries such as Unwound, June of 44, Shellac, and The Jesus Lizard, the band hones their own sound blending angular guitars with rhythmic and off-tempo bass and drum grooves as well as harsh and whispered vocals.
