Artist Detailed Info: Pixel Kid

Pixel Kid consists of myself, a laptop and a Keyboard/MIDI controller creating an experimental electronic sound. It all started nearly year ago messing around with samples and DJing and decided to create what I hoped would be catchy, electronic music. I'd say inspiration comes from a lot of the music i listen to or have heard coming from bands such as Hot Chip & Crystal Castles to djs such as Mr Oizo. Other influences come from retro computer game sounds and beeps and blips known by some as "chip tunes" As Im learning more from software creating songs, the songs and live set should really improve but with only a handfull of songs my sets are currently quite short but hopefully enjoyable. I also DJ (check out Troniks) which Im half of and download the DJ set which we performed at Kaboom at the Empire in May
