
Pascal Auberson (* 21st April 1952 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss singer , percussionist and pianist .
Pascal Auberson studied drums with Kenny Clarke in Paris and completed a classical education at the Conservatoire de Genève in Pierre Métral (drums) and Henri Chaix ( piano ). He won the first prize in the category Chanson Française at the festival in Spa . He toured many European countries as well as Africa and China . He has played at the Paris Olympia and the Théâtre de la Ville and many television broadcasts. He recorded more than a dozen albums for various labels, including Sonopresse and Polydor .
Together with choreographer Diane Decker he drew up the pieces L'intérieur du décor , Lysis , Rire , Icare of ailes pour une nuit , L'eau de l '- il , En attendant le taureau and La longue marche . In collaboration with the choreographer Noemi Lapzeson and the dancer Marcela San-Pedro emerged Tues-tu? , Trace and 7e ciel , and the company Cie Alias choreographer Guilherme Botelho , he led the pieces En manque and Moving a Perhaps . He received the Grand Prix des Variétés et de la Chanson 1990 Fondation Vaudoise pour la promotion et la création artistique .
Other collaborations were with JF Bovard at Montreux Jazz Festival 1997 ( Big Bang and Dr Jekyll et M. Hyde ), with Leon Francioli and Daniel Bourquin and the BBFC ( Liberté provisoire , Big ribbon Musique , 1991 , Border Line , bassist Instinct 2 , Free Cabaret ), with Yvette Théraulaz , François Lindemann , Brigitte Meyer, Trilok Gurtu , Pierre Audetat and the dance company ADN Dialect.
