Nuria is

1. A Christian technical metalcore band out of Baltimore, Maryland that formed in 2007. Local graduate students Mark Heisey (guitar, vocals) and Mahesh Ramanadham (drums) contacted Collin Anderson (bass) to come out to play his infamous 7-string bass for the band and the 3 instantly started bouncing unique and cohesive musical ideas off of each other. Wanting a 2nd shredder to complete the outfit, Nuria then contacted Ryan Lee to play lead axe. With Ryan's fresh and invigorating approach to electric guitar now slicing through the mix, the band stands poised to break down all pre-conceived notions of technical metalcore. Described as "a breath of fresh air in a stale and stagnant scene", Nuria is currently working on material for their debut full-length album.
