His artist name is nlpeter, His real name is Peter Fennema . He is from the Netherlands. In december 2006 He started recording his first covers of Indonesian songs and published them on a simple website on the internet.

Since those days a lot has happened. he has started making videos on YouTube, made a lot of new friends, and he even appeared on Indonesian radio and TV. he has no idea where this is heading, but the most important thing for him is that it is a great pleasure :) , and he always feel honoured by the wonderful feedback that he receive.

People often ask him why he is singing and playing Indonesian songs. "Well it’s simple…….. I love Indonesia and I love to make music". he's been to Indonesia many times. he likes to meet Indonesian people, he likes to speak the language, he likes the culture, and so on. he started playing piano when he was 6, and about 5 years later he started playing guitar. he doesn’t remember when he started singing.
