Artist Detailed Info: Matt Wolfe

Matt is a fingerstyle guitarist from Boston, MA, whose focus is percussive and rhythmic tapping-style music. He uses varying techniques such as slap pop, fingerstyle, harmonic slap, overhand, and body rhythm tapping to create unique sounds that the guitar isn't normally associated with. Along with a loop station and some delay, a myriad of sound can come out of an instrument built for more than just chords.
Working with Eric Sondhi of Bodhi Tree Productions, he released two albums, Implications of Being Lost, released in late 2011, and If Kids were Kings released in December of 2013. Through the crowd-funding platform Kickstarter, If Kids were Kings gained special recognition and nearly doubled its original goal. He has played all around the east coast, with his reach continually growing.
