Artist Detailed Info: Left Leg

Left Leg started out as Vicki Butler, Ed White and Aaron Batley. They had played together in former guises over the years; this time looking for something more fresh and "non-trend" to try their hands at.

Over two years, Left Leg garnered a reputation for intricacy and a direct approach both in songwriting and performance which separated them from their peers within the London underground scene. This did not seem a wholly successful course for the band but it was their most comfortable at times.

At the end of 2012 the band began looking for new sounds to incorporate into the songs. An act of experimentation was sought as well as the need to rid themselves of the "post-hardcore" tag slapped across them (though this wasn't truely undeserved). Come January 2013, Lucy Pereira had joined the band. She was able to introduce the soundscapes that the band were looking for whilst also giving the original members fresh energy and inputus.

They continue to forge ahead with new songs, shows, plans.

To date they have released two cassettes and have a song on the Capital A compilation alongside Way Through, Gaea Girls and Chapter Sweetheart.
