Kolib – composer, singer and instrumentalist, born in Czechoslovakia in 1975. He showed a great deal of musical talent early on, writing his first musical piece as early as eight. He was a member of several rock, jazz and alternative bands. In 2005 he embarked on a solo career. Kolib’s work eschews the limitations of genre--in addition to pop songs and minor piano compositions he has composed symphonic projects and film scores. His debut album My Own Man was released in June 2012. Among those who took part in recording this album are Ecson Waldes, Fernando Saunders, and Olivér Lee.
