The band consisted of

Nebula “Alu(B)en” Algebron (Guitar, 1996-2003)
Staggert (Bass, 1996-2002)
Mark "666" James (Bass & Guitar, 2002-2003)
Pat "PLBG" Garner (Bass, 2002-2003)
Robert “SnakkMuny” (Drums, 1996-2003)
Patrik “PeopleH8R” Thomas (Samples, Turntables, Keyboards & Noise, 1999-2003)
Helio has released 2 full albums; “Perfect Mistake” in 2000, and “Until I Wake Up Bleeding” in 2002
As well as 5 EPs; “Helio” in 1997, “Nightmare” in 1998, a Lost EP in 1999, and “Useful Failure” in 2002, and 2 projects by Helio that were never relased: A Demo EP in 2003, and “When The Bleeding Stops”, also in 2003

Helio are best-known for their original song "To Write Love On Her Arms", which was inspired by a non-profit organisation of the same name. They are also known for performing a live cover of the techno song "Every Time We Touch", as well as other covers of songs by artists similar to Helio in style and influence
