Flo Milli

Tamia Monique Carter (born January 9, 2000), known professionally as Flo Milli, is an American rapper and singer-songwriter. She gained prominence with her 2018 single "Beef FloMix" and its 2019 follow-up "In the Party", both of which went viral on TikTok, with "In the Party" receiving platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In late 2019, she signed with Justin Goldman's label '94 Sounds, an imprint of RCA Records.

Both singles served as lead tracks for her debut mixtape, "Ho, Why Is You Here?" (2020), which received critical acclaim and was included on Rolling Stone's list of the 200 Greatest Hip Hop Albums of All Time. The mixtape entered the Billboard 200, and her debut studio album, "You Still Here, Ho?" (2022), also received positive reviews. The album included the single "Conceited", which was certified gold by the RIAA. Her second studio album, "Fine Ho, Stay" (2024), included the lead single "Never Lose Me", which became her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking within the top 20.

Carter was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. She wrote her first song at age nine and began rapping at eleven, forming the rap group Real & Beautiful, later known as Pink Mafia, which she disbanded at fourteen. Inspired by Nicki Minaj after watching BET’s 106 & Park, she began writing verses that developed into songs. She released her first solo track, "No Hook", in 2015. Her musical influences include Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Kesha, Shakira, Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, and Erykah Badu.

Flo Milli recorded the original version of "Beef FloMix" in October 2018, which was a freestyle over Ethereal’s 2014 track "Beef" featuring Playboi Carti. The song went viral on social media and reached number two on Spotify's Viral 50 in April 2019. The fully-produced version was released in July 2019, amassing over 46 million streams on Spotify. "In the Party" followed in October 2019. She performed at Rolling Loud Los Angeles in December 2019 and subsequently signed with '94 Sounds and RCA Records. Singles released in 2020 included "My Attitude", "Not Friendly", "Eat It Up", "Like That Bitch", and "Weak".

In August 2020, Flo Milli signed an exclusive global co-publishing deal with Pulse Music Group. She appeared on Saygrace’s remix of "Boys Ain't Shit" and in the music video for G-Eazy’s "Down" featuring Latto. She was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards and the 2021 BET Awards. In January 2021, she released "Roaring 20s" and was included in the XXL Freshman Class of 2021.

Her debut studio album, "You Still Here, Ho?", was released on July 20, 2022, with an extended version released in 2023. Singles released ahead of her second album included "Fruit Loop", "Chocolate Rain", and "Never Lose Me", the latter becoming her first US Billboard Hot 100 entry in December 2023.

Flo Milli released her second studio album, "Fine Ho, Stay", on March 15, 2024. She joined Gunna on the North American leg of The Bittersweet Tour in May and June 2024 and collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on the single "Roc Steady" in October 2024.
