Artist Detailed Info: Drautagar

The band was founded in January 2009 under the name “Aronir”, with the founding members being Joe, Yves Didier, Yves Ehmann, Tim and Sacha. During the following weeks and months, Tim (2nd guitar) and Sacha (Vocals) left the band, and Joe took the part of the first vocals while Jaakko joined the band as additional guitar player. Our music genre is a mixture of black and pagan metal with a lot of other different influences. The lyrical themes are myths and ancient paganism influenced by the fantasy of our members. In order to represent our music as our style developed throughout the months, the band changed their name to “Drautagar” , meaning “Wolfblood” in Sindarin.
